Natural Ergonomics is a partnership to create sustainable furniture based on our slip-fit connection methods, using several variations of bamboo plywood. Bamboo is one of the strongest and most durable rapidly renewable building materials available.
Bamboo Plywood: The essence of bamboo is sustainability. It grows seven times as fast as oak and is twice as hard, providing great durability.
At NaturalErgo, we use bamboo plywood harvested from FSC certified forests which is produced using environmentally sensitive methods, and formaldehyde and toxic-free adhesives.
The furniture is produced in the US under exacting standards and is finished with a durable non-toxic tung oil.
Available Material Selections: The products offered in the NaturalErgo collection feature vertical grade segments representative of butcher block in a Natural integral color vertical grade bamboo. Tiger is the result of layers of light and dark strands of bamboo fused to a vertical grade substrate.
This material is void free and is a wood worker's dream. It is like having 4x8 sheets of solid material that can be formed like wood. These beautiful natural products are enhanced using a natural and durable non-toxic finishes. We are currently offering our furniture in the DOMA gallery in Tampa, and soon to be offered at other furniture stores and online locations.
Natural Ergonomics is utilizing the Kickstarter crowdfunding website with rewards such as branded bamboo T-shirts, bamboo iPad/Tablet stands, and a limited selection of our occasional furnishings, including a coffee table and end table in a sleek contemporary design that require no hardware or tools to assemble in minutes.
